Pink Bench

So...for those of you that haven't seen THESE yet -- GO TO THEIR WEBSITE! These are the best headbands on earth - I PROMISE! I saw them at the Freedom Festival in Provo and fell in love. They stay on your head, and don't leave you with an aching headache. The materials they have on their website are not even 1/10 of the many they have available. I'm working on photographing many of their other styles, so stay tuned.

What a GREAT couple!

I had the chance to shoot this AWESOME couple this weekend! They were such a blast and so totally in love -- even after 2 years of marriage - they had fun dogs, although we had a hard time keeping them still and looking at the camera. They were great though and just wanted to explore the mountain - they didn't want a dang camera in their face - sheesh!

The Girls

Ron's friend/business partner has the most adorable girls! They are so sweet and have been great babysitters for my kids. Since moving here, I haven't had but 3 babysitters for my kids and they are 2 of them.

Photo Challenge: Where you Live

I'm not sure exactly what this challenge was looking for, but here are my submissions:

First, Utah Lake is about 2 miles from our home and we get blessed with this gorgeous view a lot

Second, in Utah, we celebrate the 24th of July. This date is significant to us because that's when the Mormon Pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. As a state we celebrate this holiday (it's almost bigger than the 4th of July). I thought this kinda fit the challenge since it's about where I live:

Out of Town

I thought this one would be so easy cuz everything has a texture -- but once I got snapping, I realized that it was kinda hard to capture that on camera -- hopefully, I did an okay job...

I thought this one was cool with the shadows you can tell that there is a texture for sure.

My First Baby Bump

This couple is expecting their first baby! This was my first maternity shoot - so I was kinda nervous - They are a great couple and I'm so excited for them!!!

The A Family!

I had sooo much fun tonight with the A family! I loved taking pictures with their little girl! She was so fun. I will post more pictures as I edit them, so stay tuned! She was such a ham for the camera. She would be mad for a minute and then she'd turn and smile right at me...Thanks guys for letting me take such fun pictures!!!

FOOD! We went to the annual Strawberry Days celebration in Pleasant Grove this year. The kids rode the rides and of course, I wouldn't be proper if we left without enjoying the strawberries and cream! So, here is my submission for the FOOD Challenge:

Weddings

Now, I know I don't 'do' weddings. But, I've had the opportunity to attend 2 weddings this month -- both COMPLETELY gorgeous! The first was my cousin Sarah on the 12th of June, and the 2nd was my friend Shelly on the 21st. So, just for fun I took my camera along to practice and get some fun family shots. I just thought I'd share them with you here.

Photo Challenge (5)

Our challenge this week was to shoot 5 ~ five of anything, everything but something. The number/word 5 is acceptable too.
So, here is my submission. This is my kids sprinkler -- there's a big row of these but I cropped it out so there were only 5 showing. This was a rough challenge, I looked all week.
